Unit7 Would you like a pie? (story time)

武进区庙桥小学 茅立

  1. 教学目标:

1.通过对话交流,学生能理解并且运用Would you like … ? 来询问别人想要的物品。

2.通过观察人物,了解新角色 Mike 的妹妹 Helen. 理解并能够正确运用Nice to meet you.

3.通过活动和表演,学生能在生活场景中运用所学句型、熟悉单词,能听懂、会读、会说以下单词:sister, pie, cake, egg, sweet, hot dog, ice cream.

二、教学重难点:

1. 能准确运用所学句型Would you like … ? 来询问别人想要的物品。

2. 能熟练掌握单词: sister, pie, cake, egg, sweet, hot dog, ice cream.并运用于句型之中,开展对话交流活动。

三、教学准备:

PPT,食物图片,食物,头饰

四、教学过程:

Step 1 Enjoy a song

T:Do you like this song?

Ss: Yes,I like it.

T: What is this song about?

Ss: Nice to meet you.

Step 2 Free talk

师生对话,练习Nice to meet you.

Step 3 Presentation and practice

1. Words and sentences: Sweet and her friends

T: Do you want to know my friend? Who can ask me?

S: Who is your friend?

T: Look! She’s my friend. She’s Sweet. She looks like…?

Ss: A sweet.

T: You are so clever! A sweet.

Ss: A sweet.

T: Can you introduce yourselves to Sweet?

S: Hello, Sweet. I’m XXX. Nice to meet you.

T: You are so sweet.

Sweet: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you.

Train: Nice to meet you.

T: Sweet brings some gifts for you.

Sweet: Would you like a sweet?

Ss: Yes!

T: Sweet has many friends. Look! He’s my friend. What’s his name? Can you guess?

S: Egg!

T: Egg? His face looks like an egg. An egg.

Ss: An egg.

T: e-g-g, an egg.

Ss: e-g-g, an egg.

T: But he is not Mr Egg. He is Bread! Bread is a cook. He can cook nice food. For example, bread and sausages can be…?

S: A hot dog.

T: Clever! A hot dog.

Ss: A hot dog.

Bread: Would you like a hot dog?

Ss: Yes, please!

T: Would you like a hot dog?

S: Yes, please.

T: I ask, you answer. Would you like a hot dog?

Ss: Yes, please!

T: You ask me!

Ss: Would you like a hot dog?

T: Yes, please. What other food can Bread cook?

Let’s have a guessing game!

(1) It’s nice and soft. It’s full of cream(奶油).

A cake.

(2) It’s nice and sweet. It’s crisp(松脆的) outside.

A pie.

T: Sweet has another friend. She’s my friend too. What’s her name? Can you guess?

Ss: Ice cream!

T: You are right. She looks like an ice cream. An ice cream.

Ss: An ice cream.

T: Bebe is Sweet’s pet. He’s so cute. Now, he is not happy. Maybe ice cream will cheer him up. Who can aks him?

S: Would you like an ice cream?

Bebe: No, thank you.

T: Oh, Bebe doesn’t like ice cream. No, thank you.

Ss: No, thank you.

T: Can you give him other advices? What about …? Guess what Bebe like!

S: What about …?

Bebe: Yes, please.

T: Wow, Bebe likes cakes. He is happy. Now, read after me, please. What about a cake?

Ss: What about a cake?

Train: What about a cake?

Work in pairs: Offer Bebe more food

3. Story time:

T: You give Bebe so many delicious food. He says, Thank you! Let’s go to the park!

Sweet and her friends: Yeah!

(2) Watch and tick: What food do they talk about?
