Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings
T: Hi, boy/girl. Do you like cakes/pies/hot dogs? Ss:
Yes, I do.
T: This cake/pie/hot dog is for you. Ss: Thank you.
2. Enjoy a song
T: Boys and girls, do you like songs? Ss: Yes.
T: Now, let’s enjoy a song. “What would you like?”
T:What
food do you hear in the song? S: A pie. Some rice. (板书)
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Brains storm
T: I like foods. Let’s play a game about foods.
T: First, let’s look at the rules.(Miss Chen say a word, you find the similar
words. Can you? Ready? Go! )
T: Pie. It is a kind of food. Do you know other foods?
S: Cake/egg/hot dog/ice cream……
T: Hamburger/sandwich/noodles(板书)
T: Coffee.(板书)It is a kind of drink. Do you know other drinks?
S: Milk /juice/tea.

Milk, we can say a glass of milk/coffee, A cup of coffee.(teach)
2. Play
a game
(1)T: If you see a word, you read it loudly. If you see a
picture , you say “yummy,
yummy”.
(2) If you see a picture, you say it out. If you see a
word, you say“I’d like…”
Step 3 While-reading
T: So many foods. Are you hungry? Let’s go to the snack bar. Teach: snack
bar, at the snack bar (black-snack, car-bar)
T: Today we will learn Unit6 At the snack bar(揭示课题)
1. T: Do you know any snack bars?
S: KFC
T: And also McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Starbucks.
They are snack bars. Now, we are at the
snack bar. Listen, who is saying Hello? Who are they?
S: They are Mike, Helen and their father.
T: They are at the snack bar too. Let’s learn how to order from them. And you
should find what would they like.
S: They would like a hamburger, a cup of coffee, a glass
of milk, a sandwich and some noodles.
